We invite fellow researchers and lexicographers to share their latest research, innovative ideas, and insights on the topic of “Lexicography: Multidisciplinary Approaches and Collaborations.”
Paper presentations focused on any aspects of lexicography and dictionary use in any language are welcome, especially Asian lexicography and dictionaries. All papers must be original and must not be simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference.

Specialized Dictionary
Development, compilation, and use of domain-specific dictionaries.
Lexicography and Other Disciplines
Intersections of lexicography with education, law, business, politics, religion, and other fields.
Lexicography and Artificial Intelligence
AI-assisted dictionary making, natural language processing, and digital lexicography.
Lexicography and Inclusiveness
Dictionaries for sign language, deaf communities, Gen Z users, and inclusive language practices.
Lexicography and Language Preservation
Lexicography for endangered languages, regional documentation, and revitalization efforts.
Lexicography and Translation
Dictionaries in bilingual/multilingual contexts, translation studies, and cross-linguistic resources.
The language of oral presentations at the conference is English and no interpreting service is provided.
Paper presentations are 30 minutes long; a 20-minute presentation followed by a 10-minute Q&A.
Submission Guidelines
Abstracts should not exceed 800 words, including figures and references. Please omit any self-identifying references from your abstract. All author details must be entered through the submission form. Please upload your abstract as a MS Word document (.docx) no later than 15 March 2026 through the EasyChair submission portal. Abstracts must be prepared using the official template available on the submission form page or can be downloaded here.

Publication Opportunities
All papers submitted to ASIALEX 2026 that successfully pass the review process and are presented at the conference will be published in the ASIALEX 2026 Conference Proceedings. The proceedings will be published with an ISBN and will not be indexed in any indexing database.
In addition, selected papers will be considered for publication in a special issue of Lexicography: Journal of ASIALEX (https://utppublishing.com/journal/LEXI). Authors whose papers are not selected for this journal may be recommended for submission to partner journals affiliated with Persaudaraan Pekamus Seluruh Indonesia (Perkamusi) as alternative publication outlets. The ASIALEX 2026 organizing committee will provide a letter of recommendation to support submissions to these partner journals.
Further information regarding the selection process, revision requirements, and publication fees will be provided directly by the respective journal editors through their official OJS platforms.
Please note that Indonesian journals has its own indexing system namely SINTA (Science and Technology Index) which is an Indonesian web-based research information system managed by the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education. It indexes, ranks, and measures the performance of Indonesian academic journals, researchers, and institutions based on citations, publications, and quality, divided into levels SINTA 1 (highest) to SINTA 6.
