Head of the Center for Indonesian Language and Literature Development and Preservation
Dora Amalia is the Head of the Center for Language and Literature Development and Preservation at the Agency for Language Development and Cultivation, Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education of the Republic of Indonesia. She previously served as Acting Head of the same Center (2019–2022) and held positions as a Senior Lexicographer and Researcher in various divisions within the Agency since 2006. In addition to her administrative roles, she has been actively involved in national and international lexicographic organizations, serving as Secretary of the Executive Board of AsiaLex (The Asian Association of Lexicography) and a member of the Advisory Board of the Linguistic Society of Indonesia (MLI). She is also a member of the team revising the translation and interpretation of the Qur’an for the Ministry of Religious Affairs. Dora Amalia is Editor of Lexicography: Journal of ASIALEX (Scopus-indexed) and served as Editor-in-Chief of the Kamus Besar Bahasa Indonesia (KBBI) for its fifth and sixth editions. Her academic contributions include public lectures on lexicography and Indonesian language policy, as well as consultancy for dictionary projects such as The CJK Dictionary Institute in Japan.

Sven Tarp is a Full Professor at Aarhus University, Denmark. He is also an Honorary Professor at Universitat Rovira i Virgili, Tarragona, Spain, and a Chair Professor at Huazhong Agricultural University, Wuhan, China. In addition, he serves as an Extraordinary Professor at the Department of Afrikaans and Dutch, Stellenbosch University, South Africa. He is also an External Researcher at the Danish company Ordbogen A/S. His research interests include artificial intelligence, lexicographic theory, digital dictionaries, and the development of user-oriented writing tools in multilingual contexts. Professor Tarp has published extensively on lexicographic theory and serves as a member of several international research networks and editorial boards. His publications include Manual of Specialised Lexicography (with Henning Bergenholtz, Benjamins, 1995), Lexicography in the Borderland Between Knowledge and Non-knowledge (Niemeyer, 2008), Theory and Practice of Specialised Online Dictionaries (with Pedro Fuertes-Olivera, De Gruyter, 2014) and Introducción a la Lexicografía en Español: Funciones y Aplicaciones (with Antoni Nomdedeu Rull, Routledge, 2024). He is currently preparing a book on artificial intelligence and the future of work.

Pedro A. Fuertes-Olivera is a Full Professor at the University of Valladolid, Spain, and an Extraordinary Professor in the Department of Afrikaans and Dutch at Stellenbosch University, South Africa. He is also affiliated with the Centre of Excellence in Language Technology (Ordbogen A/S, Denmark). He previously served as Tutor at the Spanish Open University (1996–2021) and has been a Visiting Scholar and Velux Visiting Scholar at Aarhus University, Denmark, as well as Visiting Scholar at Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, China. His research focuses primarily on lexicography, translation, and language teaching. He collaborates with Ordbogen A/S, a Danish company renowned for its innovative work in language technologies, and is the author of several influential books, including A Guide to Practical Online Lexicography (Routledge, 2025), The Routledge Handbook of Lexicography (Routledge, 2018) and Theory and Practice of Specialised Online Dictionaries: Lexicography versus Terminography (with Sven Tarp, De Gruyter, 2014). Professor Fuertes-Olivera is the editor and chief lexicographer of the Diccionario Digital del Español (DIDES) (https://diesgital.com) and teaches a free online course on the Theory and Practice of e-Lexicography, which he disseminates through a dedicated YouTube playlist that is regularly updated with new videos.
