The Association of Indonesian Lexicographers
Persaudaraan Pekamus Seluruh Indonesia (Perkamusi)
Perkamusi was established on 11 August 2017 in Jakarta as a follow-up to the recommendations of the First National Conference on Lexicography (2016) and was officially inaugurated at the Second National Conference on Lexicography (2017). The organization emerged from the awareness that lexicographic work—the compilation and creation of dictionaries—plays a strategic role in nation-building, particularly in the standardization and orderly use of the Indonesian language.
